Product Description: A flame mahogany, Movingue and rosewood banded nightstand, the rectangular top with canted corners and a three quarter brass gallery, three drawers with fine brass handles and on paneled tapering legs.

Collection Features: Inspired by the fine furniture of Edwards and Roberts, of which it is known the Spencer family bought several pieces of furniture. The firm became one of the leading London cabinet makers and retailers of antique furniture in the 19th century and was particularly famous for finely decorated late Georgian furniture. The design symbolism of this piece is inspired by a writing design in the South Drawing Room.
